Lachlan Riches
Barrister and SolicitorLachlan was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Victorian Supreme Court in 1973. From 1974 Lachlan specialised in industrial and employment law as a Union Official and lawyer ( including a period as a member of the ACTU Executive ) involved in national industrial and wages policies and representations for industrial legislative amendments with Governments and employer groups.

Minh Nguyen
Migration PractitionerMinh graduated from the University of New South Wales with a Bachelor of International Studies and a Master of International Law and International Relations. In 2015 , she obtained the Graduate Certificate in Australian Migration Law and Policy from the Australian National University.
She previously worked for the Department of Home Affairs (DOHA) for four years, as an APS 5 Team Leader in the Sydney Service Centre. In 2016, Minh left the Department to become a migration practitioner (MARN 1683134) registered with the Office of Migration Agent Registration Authority. With her experience working in the Department, she brings to the migration industry her knowledge of the way Departmental officers operate, internal policies and procedures, and an understanding of how the Department assesses cases based on interpretation and application of the Australian immigration law.
She has specialist knowledge on Business Innovation and Investor Programme (BIIP), Employer Nomination Scheme (ENS), Distinguished Talent (GTIP), and General Skilled Migration (GSM) visas. In addition to her knowledge of the different visa programs mentioned above, Minh has also worked on complex health waivers, character waivers and requests for Ministerial Interventions.
She has strong communication skills in the English and Vietnamese language, and has assisted clients from all over the world. She is versatile in her skills as a migration agent and strives for client service excellence.
Ella Jia
SolicitorElla holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Sheffield, United Kingdom, and the Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from Queensland University of Technology.
She is a member of our Immigration Law Practice Group and provides immigration assistance to corporate clients and individual private clients on all matters related to Australian immigration law, with a focus on employer sponsored, distinguished talent, and business innovation and investment visas (MARN 1463452). She is fluent in both English and Mandarin, and has assisted clients from all different backgrounds, both onshore and overseas.
Prior to practising in immigration law, Ella also worked in corporate law in both China and Australia. She loves challenges and strives to provide tailored, thorough, strategic and creative solution that matches the needs and goals of the clients.
