If anyone has sent an enquiry to the general mailbox of the Global Talent team recently, you would have noticed that the Department is processing EOIs submitted in June 2020. It would seem that EOIs are now taking upwards of 6 months to be assessed.
However, we have noticed that some EOIs are coming through faster than others, i.e. candidates in priority sectors such as FinTech and MedTech, as well as candidates who already earn the FWHIT (presuming all other criterion are met) and working in their field of expertise, seem to receive a faster turnaround time on EOI invitations.
